Barcelona Ready for Inaugural Game at Renovated Camp Nou on Saturday
The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in La Liga two and a half years after they moved out for construction to commence.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach over 104,000 attendees, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed finished work included an updated entryway for the team and new dressing rooms.

The club conducted a public practice inside the stadium earlier this month. The club said they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
